Mondays (5 sessions): 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, (No Class 2/17), 2/24, 3/3
Grades: K-2
The children will learn sewing skills such as how to sew on buttons, thread a needle, knot a thread, and how to both start and finish a project. The children will be working on making their own projects. At the end of each project, the children will be provided with the chance to choose the type of fabric they want to use for the next project they will be working on in the course. The children will be able to have at least 2 finished projects by the end of the course to take home. This course is a beginner course for children who have no knowledge with sewing, or who are not yet confident with threading and knotting their own needles.
