Grades K-2
In Music and Movement, students will be given the opportunity to express themselves and explore music through creative dancing and music-making. This includes interpretively moving to different songs, learning basic dance steps, and playing singing games. We will also explore music-making through different instruments like bells, drums, and xylophones. Both music and movement benefit a child's development in many ways. For example, these disciplines help spark creativity, express emotion, foster social skills, develop gross motor skills, and more! We will do different activities this semester than we have done for this course in the past, so your child is welcome to sign-up again for new musical experiences! It will surely be a fun and musical time in Music and Movement!
