Thursdays (6 sessions): 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6
Grades 3-5
Beginners will learn the basics of chess including how to set up the board, the names of the pieces, how the pieces move, and how to play the game and they will have opportunities to play with other students.  Intermediate students will get time to play with other students and learn some classic openings and strategies.  They will also learn about castling and "En Passant" moves for pawns.
